David Anderson is a seasoned higher education leader and entrepreneur with 30+ years of expertise focused on meeting the needs of colleges and universities and the students they recruit. He understands higher education from the inside out as his experience at selective colleges, universities, and secondary-school campuses has ranged from head of college counseling to the chief enrollment officer. David’s work on many college-wide committees related to assessment, institutional change, and strategic planning gives him insight to the challenges institutions face regarding innovation, organizational effectiveness and risk management. His focus on technology to achieve institutional goals prepared him well for the next phase of his career as an entrepreneur. |
David has leveraged his higher education experience to create tools serving institutions of higher learning. In 2014, he produced the first platform designed to reimagine traditional communication modeling for admission and enrollment management using a dynamic visual workflow management system. As founder and CEO of RiskClimate since December 2018, his company's enterprise risk management software is a comprehensive technological solution that both simplifies and enhances enterprise risk management, leading to greater organizational resilience. It is the only software of its kind developed specifically for the higher education market. David holds a Master of Science degree from Syracuse University in Higher Education. A native of New York City, he now lives in Kalamazoo, Michigan. |
